Clear space and minimum size

Keep a margin of X on every side, where X is half the width of the flag mark. Nothing else (text, edges, other logos) enters that space.

Full logo: at least 160 px wide on screen, 35 mm in print.

Mark: at least 16 px tall on screen, 6 mm in print. Below that, use the favicon.

Colors

Priority Teal is the brand color. Ink on Paper carries the reading experience. Tap a value to copy it.

  • Priority Teal var(--brand) Primary brand color: the face of the flag mark, links on hover, accents.
  • Deep Teal var(--brand-deep) The tail of the flag mark; dark accents and rules.
  • Fold Teal var(--brand-fold) The fold of the flag mark only. Not a text or surface color.
  • Ink var(--ink) Wordmark lettering, headlines and body text.
  • Slate var(--ink-soft) Secondary text: deks, bylines, dates, captions.
  • Paper var(--paper) Page background; the reversed wordmark on Ink.
  • Rule var(--rule) Hairlines, dividers and borders.

Contrast (WCAG 2): Ink on Paper 17.75:1, Slate on Paper 8.27:1, Priority Teal on Paper 6.49:1. All pass AA for body text.

Do and don’t

Do Use the full logo on Paper or white.
Do Use the reversed logo on Ink.
Don’t Stretch, squash or rotate the logo.
Don’t Recolor the mark or the wordmark.
Don’t Place the logo on teal; the mark disappears.
Don’t Add shadows, outlines or other effects.
  • Write the name in full as The Priority Review, with a capital T, every time. Do not abbreviate it.
  • Do not combine the logo with another mark or imply endorsement.
