The Priority Review

Privacy policy

Effective October 2, 2026.

This page says what The Priority Review (thepriorityreview.com) collects when you read the site or write to us, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Reading the site

We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and we do not set tracking cookies. The site loads one stylesheet of fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch the typeface. If you use a display preference such as light or dark mode, it is stored on your own device (in local storage) and is never sent to us.

Site search

When you use site search, the words you type are sent to our own server and matched against the published articles to show results. We do not save your search or link it to you. Like any web request, it can appear in standard server logs, which we do not use to track readers.

Share images

The preview images that appear when an article is shared are generated from the article's own title with Cloudflare Workers AI. No reader data is sent to it.

The contact form

If you use the contact form, we receive and store the name, email address, topic and message you enter. We store them so the editors can read and answer your message, and we email the message to the editors. We use it only to respond and to keep a record of the correspondence. We do not sell it or use it for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated traffic. Turnstile loads a script from Cloudflare on the contact page only and may process technical information from your browser; see Cloudflare's privacy policy for details. To limit abuse we also count requests per visitor using a one-way hash of your IP address. We do not store the IP address itself, and the hash cannot be turned back into it.

Who handles the data

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests and stores the site's data and, like any host, keeps standard server logs. We do not share your information with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, write to us through the contact form or at news@thepriorityreview.com. We keep contact messages only as long as we need them to respond and to keep a reasonable record.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
