    AstraZeneca registers Phase III trial of AZD6234 in obesity and type 2 diabetes

    The SELENE-Asia study plans to enroll 330 participants and begin recruiting on January 4, 2027. It will evaluate the efficacy and safety of AZD6234 compared with placebo in adults who are overweight or obese, with or without type 2 diabetes mellitus.
