CMS finalizes CY 2027 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule rule
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services published a final rule on November 4, 2026 that finalizes policy changes for Medicare payments under the Physician Fee Schedule effective Jan. 1, 2027. The rule includes a +0.75% conversion factor for qualifying APM participants and a +0.25% factor for non-qualifying participants, with overall payment reductions of 1.83% and 2.31% respectively compared to CY 2026.

CMS finalizes 2027 Home Health payment rule, adds enrollment revocation changes
On November 4, 2026, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services issued a final rule that updates the Home Health Prospective Payment System for CY 2027, including a 2.1% payment increase ($365 million) and a 0.3% fixed-dollar-loss adjustment ($50 million). The rule also makes all revocation grounds retroactive.
