    Sanofi registers Phase 3 trial of combination SARS-CoV-2 and influenza vaccine in older adults

    The study, led by Sanofi, plans to enroll an estimated 6000 participants aged 60 and older to assess the safety and immunogenicity of a combined SARS-CoV-2 recombinant spike and high-dose inactivated influenza vaccine with Matrix-M adjuvant. It is planned to begin on November 9, 2026, with primary completion expected on December 28, 2027.
