GlaxoSmithKline registers Phase 3a study of recombinant zoster vaccine for cardiovascular events
The study, led by GlaxoSmithKline, plans to enroll 16,390 participants and aims to evaluate the impact of RZV on major adverse cardiovascular events in adults 50 years and older with established cardiovascular disease or two or more risk factors. It is scheduled to begin on November 30, 2026, with primary completion expected on November 25, 2032.
